In addition to writing and making films I enjoy playing music. From 2008 -2013 I also co-ran a record label called Bladen County Records, which was an absolute blast.

For years prior to New Move I played in a band called Jared Mees and The Grown Children and I loved it very much. We toured a fair amount, had lots of adventures and made one record and an EP together. If you're interested you should find lots of information here including links to music, photos, and video's. Jared Mees & The Grown Children from Oregon headlined the closing night of the Neon Reverb Festival Sunday at the bunkhouse, putting on one of the most rocking and fun sets of the weekend.
