Around 2014 I started a company that eventually grew into DESERT ISLAND STUDIOS, which is a mission driven modern day production company encompassing the creative development, production, post production, and distribution of original narrative and documentary productions, music videos, social platform content/marketing, and commercials.
Desert Island also offers Studio A which is a 2500sqft rental studio with a 28’x 34’ white corner CYC, a 40’x 32’ black single wall CYC, and a 6’x6’ overhead grid throughout. The black side is a raw space with empty grid overhead, perfect for set building and optimal light control. The white side is perfect for fashion, editorial, product, performance, you name it, with full RGB overhead spacelights connected to an easy to use IPAD kiosk. Both spaces are included with a studio A rental as well as the basic grip package, 400 amps of distro, the HMU/dressing room, the cafe, and the 2nd floor production office.
